Working with local indigenous farming communities in the altiplano highlands of the Andes mountains we have re-discovered this ancient almost extinct Pasankalla variety of Red Quinoa. Some call quinoa the super grain of the future because of its great qualities.
Quinoa contains more high quality properties than many other grains. It has a light delicate nutty flavor. You can sprout this and use in pilaf, eat it plain or use in your favorite cracker or granola.
