These are certified organic raw amarillo peppers. Amarillo peppers are rated at about 30,000 scoville units. They are dried whole at low temperatures after harvest. This is similar in flavor to a Red Jalapeno but a little hotter with citrus overtones. Add some heat to those raw creations or a morning smoothie. This makes a great condiment and fits into any salad dressing.
